8.22.2014 Dr. Zahra Hemmatian joins the group as a postdoctoral fellow working on the integration of rhodopsins with protonic devices. Zahra comes from the University of Bologna with an expertise in bioelectronics and devices, co-supervised by Dr. Cavallini and Dr. Biscarini.



8.13.2014 Xiaolin joins the group! Xiaolin comes with a MS from UW working with Prof. Ying Zheng and a BS from UIUC. Xiaolin will work on self-assembled chitin nano fibers, biocomposites, and applications.

6.21.2012 Pegah Hassanzadeh joins the group as a new PhD student. Pegah comes from Alfred University with a MSci in Materials Science and Engineering. Pegah will help develop the chitin nanofiber substrates for bioengineering applications.
